Business Description
CompuData was founded in 1971 by Chairman W. Fred Rump as a facilities management company for National ICEE and E.B. Evans Corp. With four employees at the time, the company used a large NCR mainframe computer to do batch processing for a variety of clients. During the company's history, the focus shifted from mainframe to mini-computer to current technology.
Product Description
According to Steve Ciarciello, CompuData's current CEO and President, "CompuData has survived and prospered because we have learned the importance of confronting our clients' immediate concerns, while keeping our eyes open to discover how CompuData and its clients can stay in the forefront of technological change.
